Competition for business associations and civil society organisations – participation in the project of public-private dialogue for development

The NALED and the PPS with the support of the USAID are inviting civil society organisations and business associations to apply for participation in the Project of public-private dialogue for development, in order to get the chance to acquire new know-how and strengthen their skills for planning and the advocacy of regulatory reforms.

The goal is to help small organisatons to best present to the public as well as to line institutions their ideas for the improvement of the business environment, and together with decision-makers in state and local bodies work on the definition and implementation of regulatory initiatives.

Representatives of selected organisations will undergo various trainings (negotiation, lobbying, facilitation, moderation, drafting of amendments to regulations, etc.), participate in study tours to Europe and the USA, they will also undergo media trainings, and receive expert assistance for the development of analyses and legal regulations.

In the course of 2018 the Project of public-private dialogue for development gathered the Association for the Development of Entrepreneurship from Nis, Agrocluster of Serbia, and the Association of Bee Keeping Organisations of Serbia, and their initiatives for the reform of the system of lump sum taxation, improvement of conditions for organic production, and prevention of bee poisoning entered the reform agenda of the Government of Serbia.
