The Public Policy Secretariat (PPS), through the PERFORM project, developed mechanisms to address the deficit of analytical capacities within public administration necessary for the creation of evidence and data-based public policies.
During two project cycles, the project provided financial support for the implementation of 14 pilot projects, representing parallel cooperation processes between decision-makers and scientific research organizations.
The research results obtained were used in the preparation of strategic documents, as well as amendments to regulations such as: the Decree on Agreements for the Repair and Maintenance of Motor Vehicles and Agreements on the Sale of Spare Parts for Motor Vehicles Exempted from Prohibition, the Criminal Code, the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the Decree on Earmarked Transfers in Social Protection, and others.
