The Public Policy Secretariat organized the workshop with the assistance of the German-Serbian cooperation project ‘Support for the Public Administration Reform’ that is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation – GiZ.
The workshop was delivered by experts from the Behavioural Insights Team, Dr Kizzy Gandy and Kevonte Mitchel. The workshop participants had a chance to acquaint themselves with methodological approaches and opportunities for a practical application of behavioural approaches to public policy measures, as well as with examples of how these approaches have been applied so far in countries around the world. Introduction of behavioural approaches or insights into human behaviour ensures that public services are more economical and accessible to citizens. The workshop is a continuation of activities that began in May 2018 at the conference ‘Modern Approaches to Public Policies’.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Ministry of Health, the Institute for Public Health ‘Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut’, the Ministry of Finance – Tax Administration, the Provincial Secretariat for Finance, and the Public Policy Secretariat.
