Register of Administrative Procedures Portal (rap.euprava.gov.rs) administered by the Public Policy Secretariat was declared one of the three best innovations in public administration in Europe and won the European Public Sector Award.
The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA – www.eipa.eu) awards the European Public Sector Award, and the Register of Administrative Procedures Portal (RAP) is one of this year’s winners in the category Innovation in Public Administration. This prestigious award recognizes extraordinary efforts and success in the field of innovation and public sector improvement. The competition included 78 proposals in this category, and the RAP Portal was recognized as an example of partnership between public administration and businesses and citizens as end users of public services. RAP contributes to more modern, efficient and less expensive public administration.
Register of Administrative Procedures Portal is a single place where users (businesses and citizens) can find all the necessary information about over 3,100 procedures under the competence of more than 120 authorities and organizations at the state and provincial levels. Available information include who is the procedure intended for, which documentation is required, the costs, deadlines and availability of an electronic service.
The European Institute of Public Administration, based in Maastricht, trains more than 10,000 European and civil servants annually and enables them to further develop and improve their capacities through research, development and consultation. EIPA is supported by the EU member states and the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme.
