Medium-Term Planning for SABs and LSUs

The Public Policy Secretariat provides methodological support to entities obliged to conduct medium-term planning at the national and local levels in the preparation of medium-term plans, in accordance with the applicable regulations (the Law on the Planning System of the Republic of Serbia, “Official Gazette of RS” No. 30/18, and the Decree on the Methodology for the Preparation of Medium-Term Plans, “Official Gazette of RS” No. 8/19). To ensure the accurate integration of objectives, measures, and indicators established in planning documents into medium-term plans, and to secure the necessary resources for their achievement, the Public Policy Secretariat has developed standard templates, namely: a template for the tabular presentation of the medium-term plan (MTP) and a template for the tabular presentation of the progress report on the implementation of the medium-term plan (AR MTP) for entities obliged to conduct medium-term planning at the national level (SABs), as well as templates for local self-government units (LSGUs). The templates for MTP and AR MTP for national-level entities are generated in the Unified Information System for Planning, Monitoring of Implementation, Coordination of Public Policies, and Reporting.
