Project objective: Systemic reforms aimed at strengthening local self-government units in line with the Public Administration Reform Strategy, leading to more efficient local authorities, improved services, participatory-democratic processes, and evidence-based planning at the local level, for the benefit of the citizens of Serbia.
Project implementation period: June 2020 – February 2024
Project activities under Outcome 3 focus on further improvement of the Business Intelligence (BI) system, i.e., the local government unit database, to support evidence-based decision-making and planning; promotion of the BI system and training in its use; as well as support for the preparation of development plans for three pilot local self-governments.
These project activities are implemented by the Public Policy Secretariat in cooperation with the National Academy for Public Administration, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, and the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
