The Action Plan for the Implementation of the Government`s Program for the period 2020-2022 (APIGP) was adopted on January 28th. The APIGP is an operational document created on the basis of Government`s Program, which was presented in the Serbian Parliament. Like the Government`s Program, APIGP contains priorities and objectives which should be achieved by the end of the Government`s mandate.
Objectives set by the APIGP belong to four priority areas:
- Efficient public administration
- Further economic strengthening of the Republic of Serbia
- Serbia in Europe and in the world
- Human rights protection and security
This mechanism, which was established in 2015, is an efficient way for state administration and the Government itself to carry out evidence based public policy management. In the forthcoming period regular meetings will be held in order to discuss progress made and to find most appropriate way to overcome emerging challenges and obstacles.
