The Registry of Administrative Procedures is a single electronic database of all administrative procedures carried out by state administration bodies. It is designed to be an easy-to-access and uncomplicated source of all information that businessmen and citizens need in order to obtain a permit, exercise a right, or meet an obligation. The launch of the Registry Portal ensures that all information about all administrative procedures can be found in one place, and that anyone can find out which documents they need to submit, what payment to make and to which account in just a few mouse clicks and without having to queue before counters.
At present the Registry displays only procedures that concern business entities. The Registry contains more than 2,600 procedures but at the moment 1,600 procedures conducted by national bodies and bodies of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina are publicly accessible. As of today all businessmen can find request forms, information about required documents to be attached to the request, a precise amount of a charge or a fee they need to pay and an account for making payments, information about where to forward the request if the procedure has not been digitalised, as well as other information essential for efficient processing of the request. The number of procedures will be rising weekly, and businessmen will be able to quickly and easily find all the information necessary for unhindered operating. By the end of 2022 the Registry will have contained administrative procedures initiated by citizens as well, while procedures originally carried out by local self-government units will be available by end 2023 at the latest.
Thus by applying a simple search by key words, activity, institution, and business episode, one can find all the essential information within a matter of seconds, without having to wait in long queues.
The Registry is managed by the Public Policy Secretariat of the Republic of Serbia, an institution that provides to the Government and state administration its expertise in modernization, digitalization, and transformation of public administration, while technical support is provided by the Office for Information Technology and eGovernment.
