Digital Transformation in Serbia – Contribution to the Green Agenda – the most significant innovation in public administration

The Green Agenda Digital Transformation Project, administered by the Public Policy Secretariat, was awarded as one of the three most significant innovations in public administration. The award is presented every two years by the Regional School of Public Administration (RESPA) and will be presented during the Western Balkans Ministerial Conference on Public Administration Reforms on 27 November in Skopje, North Macedonia.

Through this project, 32 services in the field of renewable energy sources have been digitalized and have been made available on the e-Government portal here and here as of 9 July.

RESPA is a regional organization supported by the European Commission that supports the Western Balkans countries in the creation of transparent, accountable and professional public administration institutions.

The Western Balkans Public Administration Award is an exceptional recognition for achievements in the transformation and modernization of public administration. For this prestigious award, the PPS nominated a project through which 32 permit issuance services in the field of renewable energy sources were digitally transformed with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
