The Public Policy Secretariat nominated the Register of Administrative Procedures Portal (RAP) for the European Public Sector Award, which is awarded every other year by the European Institute for Public Administration. In the category “Innovations in Public Administration”, the proposal for the “RAP Portal – a single window for all public administration services” was shortlisted for this award.
The RAP portal is a spot where all potential users (both legal and natural persons) can find publicly available information about more than 3100 services at disposal to the businesses and citizens. The standards of services set by the Public Policy Secretariat through the RAP represent a novelty in public administration since all services become transparent, publicly available and digital with the establishment of the RAP Portal. All services are user-friendly. The partnership with the businesses and civil society that the Public Policy Secretariat has been developing also contributed to optimizing services and making them simpler, cheaper and more accessible.
The European Institute for Public Administration is supported by the European Commission and EU member states and gathers numerous experts from various fields of European policies. The main goal of the European Institute for Public Administration is to improve the knowledge and skills of employees in public administration for effective management of public policies.
